Music is one of my passions. To be honest, I probably spend more time listening to music than I should. That's why it's important to really consider what you're listening to. I love rap music. If I had to give a percentage, I would say I used to listen to 70% rap or other genre music and 30% Christian music. Now, I'd say that that figure has changed to 60% rap/other genre music, and 40% Christian music. The key distinction is that half of that 60% rap music is now Christian rap music, so the actual split is 70% Christian music and 30% other. You don't have to eliminate a music genre from your listening completely, but it's important to be cognizant of the message the songs are trying to convey. You may experience a change in your life you've never felt before.
